Last Wednesday (24 June 2008) told us that the Cheshire County Council proposes to close the local primary school and into a place of professional studies, 14 to 19 years.
It's a long story, but why they proposed, it noted the declining number of students (numbers from a much earlier time!), But our school is the heart of a community and even take that harms us all apart!
Children lose friends, as not everyone would be able, in the same school, 80% of us will transfer to school, but because the school does it very difficult to drive and others to walk a long distance.
We have a petition and organized a protest for the children to sing on the day of the Council held its 1st Meeting of the case.
Behind the scenes we are working very hard, but I wonder if someone in the same situation and won? What have you done? How? Any advice would be great, no stupid answers please, this is the children of the future!
